Norms for free luggage, overweight and substandard luggage requirements are fixed by the customer, therefore exact information on luggage carrying is always provided on the ticket, besides, you can ask at the travel agency.
Below-provided norms and charges may vary.
Free (uncharged) Luggage Requirements
Every passenger (except infants) is allowed for free transportation of registered luggage in compliance with the norm specified on the flight ticket (20 kg). Overweight is calculated from 22 kg (inclusive). Free registered luggage for a flight to Agadyr should not exceed 15 kg.
For flight safety reasons 1 unit of unregistered hand luggage is allowed on board with dimensions not exceeding 55 x 40 x 20 cm and weight - 5 kg.
Such hand luggage must go under the seat in front of your own or luggage compartment aboard. If your luggage cannot be placed in the aforementioned places, is too heavy or considered unsafe for any reason, it must be carried as registered luggage.
Luggage in Excess of the Free Luggage Norm
Where a passenger’s luggage is in excess of the free carried luggage norm, overweight is charged. Each overweight kilogram is charged 18 Litas (5 EUR).
Most Commonly Taken Substandard Luggage
To avoid possible plane loading problems, in case of transportation of surfboards, sailing equipment, water-skis or diving equipment, one must inform a travel operator in advance about the dimensions of the aforementioned items and get confirmation for their transportation. The aforementioned items must be packed in special bags. In case of transportation of diving equipment, its detail description must be produced.
The items mentioned below cannot be carried as free hand luggage in any case. For transportation of such items the following charges are applied by the representative of the travel agency:
- 1 surfboard: LTL 104 (EUR 30);
- 1 set of sailing equipment: LTL 104 (EUR 30);
- 1 set of water-skis: LTL 104 (EUR 30);
- 1 set of golf equipment: LTL 104 (EUR 30);
- 1 set of diving equipment:
- 1 bicycle: LTL 104 (EUR 30);
- 1 tent: LTL 104 (EUR 30).
Dimensions of surfboard, sailing equipment, water-skis, diving equipment and bicycles shall never exceed 400 x 65 x 5 cm.
Additional requirements apply to bicycle transportation: front wheel, pedals must be removed, handlebar must be turned parallel to the frame; air taken off the tires. All bicycle parts must be packed into a carton box or special plastic bag.
For diving equipment: if a set contains oxygen cylinders, they must be empty and appropriately packed.
Skiing equipment set for one person is included into free registered luggage norm.
Such skiing equipment set for a person may contain:
- Skis, skiing boots and sticks, or
- Snowboard with boots.
Where the skiing equipment is in excess of the aforementioned quantity and/or above the general free registered luggage norm, the overweight charge will be applied.

Items and/or Materials Prohibited from Taking Aboard
Firearms or any other guns or imitations thereof, items that may be used as guns, sharp or blunt items that may cause injuries to humans, as well as explosives, flammable, chemical or toxic substances are prohibited from taking aboard on Aurela’s aircrafts.
